Artist-In-Residence

It is an honor to be named the 2016 Artist-In-Resident for the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument. As the first Artist-in-Residence photographer to represent these unique and magnificent lands it was a very rewarding experience to explore the Monument's cultural and natural resources. I would like to commend the Friends of the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument and the Bureau of Land Management for having the foresight to institute an Artist-In-Residency program at the OMDPNM. A-I-R programs are an invaluable source for promoting the preservation and conservation of our public lands for future generations.
